1. If the magnet is too strong or too weak Cochlear will provide one magnet of different strength, at your request, free of charge. Call Customer Service to arrange for another magnet. The current magnet cannot be returned to Cochlear for exchange or for credit toward other merchandise.

2. If the new cable/coil or unmapped BTE processor is the wrong color, call Customer Service to order the correct color. The new cable/coil or BTE processor will be sent out immediately and you will be billed for the replacement item. As soon as Cochlear receives the incorrect item from you, we will issue you a full credit for the replacement item.

3. The items in the speech processor accessory kits are standard and have a 30-day warranty. The warranty period begins on the first day of your patient’s hook-up. Accessories that fail to function during the 30-day warranty period will be replaced at no charge.

4. You must report shortages within 10 days of receipt of merchandise.

5. If the Mini BTE controller is unable to support the patient’s selected stimulation parameters, it can be returned for a BTE or BW controller within 30 days at no charge.

Cochlear will NOT:

• Accept any item in exchange for any other from accessory kits.
• Replace or give credit for the return of a non-functioning item after the 30-day warranty has expired.
• Accept any item the individual feels is unnecessary for exchange or credit towards other merchandise.

If you receive damaged goods, note the carton damage or suspected damage on all delivery receipts. Save all packaging material and call the carrier for an inspection report.
Do not return any merchandise, damaged or otherwise, without authorization from Cochlear Americas. Customer Service, at its option, will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) which must accompany all returning items.
